Christmas Lights!

We came up to Iowa this past weekend for Maggie's Bridal shower. I was a big help to Maggie. I helped her open all her gifts. Thanks Maggie for letting me help you open your gifts. Since we came up for the shower Mommy, Kendall and I are staying with Papa and Grammar Roethler for the week. Daddy is on his way up to Iowa today to spend the rest of the week with us. My little Kendall that has no fear was standing on a little chair, then tryied to turn up the volume for the TV. We would tell her No and she just turned around and smiled at you.

We went to a special house up in Grimes to see all the lights. This house puts out so many lights that the whole yard is covered with decorations. It was a bit cold outside, but I just wanted to keep walking threw it. It was pretty neat to see.

It was to cold out for Kendall to go around and look at all the lights. She had to stay in the car with Papa Roethler. She was pretty amazed by the lights her self, she just kept staring at them.

Kendall is starting to show her personality to everyone. Grammars was trying to take her photo and this what she thought of it!!

Little Piggy!!

We have a little piggy on our hands. This morning she ate a whole waffle and a whole toaster strudel. Let just say she takes after her daddy in the eating area!!

I got this new Little People manger scene from one of our neighbors. I played with it all night. It lights up and plays a song, it is really neat.

Kendall loves to go for rides on her cars. We were having races last night and of course I won.

I was being silly and putting our little Cy the Cyclones hat on myself.

No Fear!!

Kendall is getting an early start on opening presents. She keeps getting into the gifts under the tree and tries to open them. Let just say I don't think she will be shy to open gifts for Christmas!

Look at that hair!! Kendall has no fear, she climbs up this little slide and whips her feet right around and goes down the slide. She is getting so big!

Turkey Day in Iowa!!

We went back to Iowa for Thanksgiving. We spent Thursday with papa Lovell, the Upchurch's and Great Grandma Lovell. We got this photo with the boys and papa Lovell.

Papa Roether and I watched the Bee Movie and got to share some popcorn. Kendall thought she would help Grammars with the dishes. She was having so much fun playing with the handle. She kept changing the water temp.

At Grammar and Papa Roethler's house I found this cool track that I could drive cars on. This was mommy and Uncle Korey track when they were little. It is now my new favorite toy at Grammars and Papas house. We had a great time back in Iowa!!

Loft and Daddy's new truck!!

This past weekend daddy finally finished the loft out in the garage. So we now have a new place to store all the stuff. As you can see it is very sturdy, heavy duty and already full!! The key part to finally finishing this loft is Daddy had to get a new truck just to haul five sheets of plywood home (so that is what daddy tells mommy anyways!) While daddy was working on the loft I pushed Kendall around in her car. She was having so much fun that she kept jumping up and down. Kendall is getting so big, she is climbing on everything. Her new thing is to crawl to the top of the stair, so we have to keep a very close eye on her. Mommy cleaned out the closets over the weekend and she found this hat so I decided to put it on. I was being a pirate with it on.

Ice Cream shop!!

This is how I found Kendall when I went to get her from her nap. She had fallen asleep with her hood up.

I decided to make an ice cream shop. I was fixing mommy and daddy ice cream cones and banana splits. (to be young and have so much fun with play food)

Last night we went and got ice cream. Mommy was feeding Kendall hers and this is what her face looked like in the end. What a messy little girl!!

Pumpkins and Little Lady Bugs!!

Both Kendall and I were little ladybugs this year for halloween.

Daddy raked up a small pile of leaves for Kendall and I to play in. I got to play a little more than Kendall. I kept raking them back in a pile and throwing them up.

Kendall got to get in the pile with me for just a picture. Mommy was worried that she would try and eat them.

On Thurday night Uncle Korey and Maggie came over to help us carve our pumpkins. Mommy tried to put Kendall in the pumpkin and she wasn't too sure about it.

Both Kendall and I tried to help daddy clean out the pumpkin.

This is what we ended up with. Kai-lan, Scooby Doo and a scary monster as Kaylee calls it.

Kaylee's Birthday Party!!

We had Kaylee's 3rd birthday party on Saturday. Mommy and Daddy rented this fun blow up gym for the day. I was so surprised when I went out back and saw it.

I had so much fun in it. It had a slide, basketball hoop and a place to jump.

Even Kendall got to have a little fun in it.

Here is a photo of the cake that I wanted this year. It is Ariel from the Little Mermaid. It was a joint effort on Friday night from Aunt Maggie, Uncle Korey and Daddy they all helped mommy make it. I got so many gifts. Here is a photo of a coloring book that I got. My 3 cousins got to come down and join me for my birthday. We all had so much fun. Thank you to everyone that came to celebrate my birthday with me and thank you for all my gifts and cards.

Kaylee's Birthday

On this day three years ago we welcomed Kaylee Jolene in to the world. She was just so cute!!

This was the most scared moment in Mommy's life. The first time we all left the hospital to go home.

Then she was One!!

Then Two!!

Now Three WOW where does the time go! Daddy surprised all of us by taking the day off and he made us pancakes and eggs. Then we made me some cupcakes. I was so excited to eat the batter.

I then helped mommy sprinkle them.

We then went to a place with a lot of jungle gym's and I went down a big slide and you went really fast.

There were so many things to play on.

Kendall even got to play on the toys with me. She had so much fun just crawling around.

She got to go down a big slide all by herself. At the end of the day Kaylee had a pretty good birthday. We went to Chuck e Cheese for dinner and games with Korey and Maggie. Let's just say that she was pretty worn out tonight!!

Weekend up with Grammar's and Papa Roethler!

We went home to Iowa this past weekend. Mommy and Daddy went to the Iowa State Football game on Saturday. So Grammar's and Papa Roether watched Kendall & I on Saturday afternoon. We played outside for most of the afternoon. I thought it was really fun to pick up all the pinecones and put them into my bucket. Then I laid them all out on the dock.

Papa and Kendall were checking out papa's mum garden. He has lots of pretty colored mums in it.

I had such a fun day with Grammar's and Papa that I fell a sleep in the toy box.

Papa thought it would be a good idea to share his popsicle with Kendall. She loved it and kept going back for more.
