Family Photos

Thursday night we went and had family photos and Kendall's 1 month photos taken. Both girls did outstanding and cooperated well for us. Below are more pictures from the session. The girls have grown up quickly already.

Kaylee and Kendall!!

Kaylee thought Kendall needed a kiss, but Kendall was not quite as happy to receive one. Kaylee's cute litte smirk as the photographer had to bribe her to smile.

Kendall looks just like Kaylee did at this age. She is beginning to be much more alert and active during the day.

Kendall was One Month on Monday!

Kendall turned one month old on Monday. We went to the doctor today and all I can say is she sure knows how to eat. She has gained two pounds in one month. She weights in at a whopping 9lb 14oz. The doctor said she is doing good. I also have to mention that on Saturday she rolled over from her stomach to her back. She is growing so fast. Daddy and Kendall got to take a little nap together and Kaylee wanted to join in on the snuggle time with daddy as well.

Kendall's first real bath!!

Kendall got her first real bath. She has finally lost her umbilical cord so now you can see her belly button. Kendall really enjoys her baths just like her big sister!

As you can see big sister is being such a big help for mommy and daddy. Kaylee is always trying to help mommy out with everything to do with Kendall.

Finally got a good photo of Kendall with her eyes open. She still has her days and night mixed up so it is hard to catch her with her eyes open during the day.

Kaylee's First Bowling Outing!!

We got to go bowling today. It was my first time bowling. Mommy and Daddy had to help me. I kept telling mommy and daddy that it was Kaylee's turn to bowl. I really had a lot of fun. Kaylee even got a spare. Kaylee's score was the second one on the screen. As you can also see Mommy was beating daddy. She even ended up winning the game.

I got my own ball to bowl with and shoes. The ball was kind of heavy for me.

I decided to just sit down to watch the ball go down the lane.

Daddy helped me push the ball down the lane. This morning daddy got to cuddle with both his little girls.

Kendall is getting so big. It is hard to believe that she will already be three weeks on Monday. Man how fast the time goes.

A great weekend in KC

We had a busy weekend. Grandma & Papa Roethler came down to see us and Papa Lovell came down on Sunday to see us. So we were busy all weekend. Mommy got this shirt for Kendall and I had my big sister shirt. So mommy dressed us in them and took this photo. It was so nice this weekend that we all got to go outside for a little while yesterday. Kendall didn't know what to think about outside.

As you can see I wouldn't cooperate for daddy so he could get a good photo of us.

Daddy and I got to swing together. I kept telling daddy to put Kendall in the red swing and Daddy kept telling me that she is too little yet. I can't wait till she is big enough to play with me outside.

I didn't want to go inside, but when the sun started to go down it got pretty chill out. That didn't stop me I just wanted to keep on swinging.

Papa Lovell got to hold Kendall while she was sleeping. When shes not sleeping she can be pretty fussy and all she wants is mommy.

Kaylee being silly

Daddy had some quiet time with Kendall last night. Kendall is doing really good. We are still working on the difference between days and nights. Last night I decided to put crayons between my toes. I was being really silly.

I really love baby Kendall. I always want to hold her no matter what kind of mood she is in. I hold her even if she is crying. I gave her one of my stickers that I got from the doctors office. Mommy thinks it is a really good thing that I am already wanting to share with my sister, but I'm sure it won't last for long.

Kendall's one week old today!!

We went to the doctors today for Kendall's one week check-up and they said she is doing really good. She is a little pig though, she was above her birth weight. She now weights 7lb 13oz. Everthing else was really good with her. Yesterday the Upchurch's came down to see us. I got to play with the boys and I had so much fun. All the boy got to hold my sister. We really enjoyed having them down to visit. So precious, Kendall has her days and nights mixed up. Everyday is getting better. Mommy is trying to keep caught up on her sleep too. Daddy has been such a big help to mommy he is always playing with me while mommy takes care of Kendall. Thanks to daddy from mommy for all his help. I was trying to wake-up Blake yesterday. I just crawled up on him to wake him up, but he didn't want to wake up for me.

Aunt Shawna got to spend some time with Kendall. We already miss the Upchurch's. We wish they lived closer to us so we could spend more time with them.
